Heidi I immigrated to Australia at the end of 2024, with my husband, daughter and dog! We have since had another baby. I have worked within the Finance sector most of my life. Some of the organisations in which I’ve worked for in the past offer their employees charity days, these can range from helping the elderly with learning technology or gardening in local areas to working in a charity shop, I found my charity days very fulfilling and rewarding and that’s why I am excited to be part of the Board.
I have now taken a step back in my career to be focus on my role as a mum. The committee to me means I can get myself stuck in without feeling like i am juggle too much at once.
I am also extremely passionate about how important a childhood is, especially the first 7 years of life, I love how JFC is part of the crucial early childhood for so many little ones.
