Alina is a local mum, active centre user and long‑serving public sector leader with a passion for community advocacy. A former UK Radio News Editor, she has spent 15 years in WA Government in senior media and communications roles across high‑profile portfolios. She has driven public awareness on child safety, fraud prevention, gambling harm and tenancy law reforms supporting people experiencing family and domestic violence, and has overseen media for major State events and infrastructure projects.
Through the Jawun knowledge‑share program, Alina took part in a cultural immersion in the Kimberley, applying her skills alongside Aboriginal community‑controlled organisations. A proud City of Joondalup resident, she believes Family Centres can be the heart of thriving, connected communities. As a board volunteer, she brings a collaborative, values‑driven approach to governance.
