Mikayla is a qualified teacher, homeschooling parent, and the founder of Nurtured Learning, a local education business. She is passionate about helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning, while creating inclusive and welcoming spaces where families feel supported and connected.
As a mum to a young daughter, Mikayla understands the importance of strong local networks and accessible family services. She values the role community centres play in bringing people together, reducing isolation, and creating opportunities for families to learn and grow alongside one another.
Mikayla is proud to serve on the Joondalup Family Centre Committee and contribute to the centre’s ongoing work supporting local families. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll usually find her exploring nature with her daughter and dog!
